Abstract: We present an accessible and easy to implement method to improve the electronic nose capability of discriminate between a priori similar odours. We present our first results for olive oils aromas because of the emergent importance of quality control for local olive oil production. We study the effect of irradiating samples with visible laser for discrimination and further classification of olive oils from the same geographic region.
