Resumen:
Zebrafish, is an exciting new model to work in vivo due to the advantages it presents:  easy to work with, low cost maintenance, and high progeny at once. The embryonic development is well described and is easy to control the condition in which is carried on. BSA nanoparticles (BSAn) are of a diameter of 20 nm. Different characterizations studies described the nano particle as a more compact molecule than the protein by it?s own due to the high content of alpha-helix. The encapsulation was better through not in a considerable way, and the drug release was more stable and controlled. On the other hand, liposomes are considered to be useful as drug delivery systems.  One particular type of liposomes is the polymeric ones. They can be obtained by photopolymerization and they are very rigid and stable. In this work, we studied the effect of the BSAn bound to the anitumoral drug Emodin, on the activity of zebrafish larvae. Emodin presents great toxicity. Almost no effect was observed in larvae treated with the complex BSAn:Emodin. These were also compared  to  larvae exposed  to BSA and BSA:Emodin. The BSA showed a great hyperactivity on  the  larvae, whereas  the complex, seemed  to cause a  toxic effect similar  to  the one caused by the drug alone. We have also observed the effect caused by the polymeric liposomes on the spontaneous swim on the larvae. Results shown no toxic effect on any of the larvae tested.
