Resumen:
Curcumin is an antioxidant and antinflammatory polyphenol able to prevent metabolic alterations in experimental nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NALFLD). We have previously described an altered blood and liver CD4 and CD8 central and effector memory T cells (T CM, T EM) pattern in NAFLD patients. We amed to evaluate the effect of high fat diet (HFD) on memory and naive T cell distribution as well as curcumin ability to prevent any potential alterations in experimental nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.
