Resumen:
In this contribution, we present new mineralogical data of those metasomatic zones developed in the contact between tonalite dykes and ultramafic rocks, located on the eastern part of the Sierra Chica,Córdoba. From tonalites to ultramafic rocks three main mineralogical zones are mainlyidentified. These zones comprise anthophyllite, chlorite (clinochlore) and Mghornblende. Metasomatism evolved from a first stage with high Si and Mg activity (anthophyllite formation), to a Ca, Mg and Al rich second stage (Mg-hornblende).Subsequently, in a third stage Mg-hornblende and anthophyllite were altered to chlorite.Finally, vermiculite was formed during a fourth stage
