Resumen:
This editorial introduces Volume 31, Issue 1 of The Journal of Agricultural Education and Extension, marking the first edition under new editorial leadership. It begins by acknowledging the vital roles of reviewers and editors, with special thanks to outgoing editors and a warm welcome to seven new handling editors from diverse global institutions. The issue highlights the international breadth and topical diversity of its articles, covering countries across Africa, Europe, Oceania, and Asia. Key themes include FARMER ENTREPRENEURSHIP, ADVISORY TRUST RELATIONSHIPS, CLIMATE CHANGE MITIGATION, MENTAL HEALTH, and BIOSECURITY BEHAVIOR. Methodologies range from qualitative interviews to survey-based quantitative analysis. The papers explore both external and internal drivers of change, such as advisors influence, personality traits, institutional dynamics, and behavioral segmentation. A final article discusses how agricultural education adapts to shifting sectoral challenges. The editorial reinforces the journals commitment to advancing theory and practice in agricultural education and extension on a global scale.
