Resumen:
Faults caused by voltage unbalances as a conse- quence of high-resistance connection (HRC) are one of the most common problems in electrical systems. HRC increases torque oscillations and vibrations, and generally affect the normal operation of machines. This article presents an analysis of the behavior of a synchronous reluctance motor drive with HRC. Simulation is performed under balanced and unbalanced con- ditions to study the consequences of voltage unbalance. Finally, experimental results are shown to make a direct comparison with the simulation ones.
