Los mayores impactos positivos (cartelería) se dan en el tramo 1.AbstractThe Natural Protected Area, Parque Provincial El Tromen, locates in the north on Neuquén Province, created in 1971 with the aim to protect birds and their habitats. This work identifies impacts of mountaineering to biodiversity and security, in southwestern trail of the Tromen volcano. The method had hoc is based in IBIS ? TA and MIDE. The trail was divided in 3 stretches due to measurement in situ and the use of Google Earth. The evaluation of impacts (positive and negative) where made due observation. The SW trail has a length of 17 km of distance and 1,800 mts of difference of level. The travel across of the trail demands 15 hours. The greater negative impacts to biodiversity (Vegetal coverage, change of comportment of birds and exotic species) occur in stretch 1. The greater negative impacts to security (risk) occur in stretches 2 and 3. The positive impacts (information signs) occur in stretch 1.
