Resumen:
Venous leg ulcers are those with the highest incidence between chronic wounds. Background pathology, infection and chronic inflammation delay healing and produce a pathological exudate whose biochemical composition reflects the clinical state of the wound. The aim of this work is to evaluate the feasibility of using FT-IR spectroscopy to correlate the ulcer clinical state and the  exudate biochemical composition.
