Resumen:
A taxonomic revision ofBegonia veitchii Hook. f. ispresented. Three taxa are newly recognised as synonyms of B. veitchii: B. baumanniLemoine, B. odoratissima Chevalierand B. clarkei Hook f.; and two infraspecific taxa are newly described andillustrated: B. veitchii subsp. machupicchuensis Tebbitt, which is endemicto the Cusco Region of Perú, and B. veitchii subsp.veitchii var. lanatifolia Tebbitt, which is endemic to Chuquisaca Department,Bolivia. Three taxa recognized as synonyms of B. veitchii - B. baumanni Lemoine, B. rosiflora Hook. f., and B. clarkei Hook. f. - are lectotypified.A key, descriptions, distribution map, and illustrations are provided for allof the recognized infraspecific taxa of B.veitchii.
