Resumen:
In this work we present a light sensor with auto-centering ability for application in a Non Diffractive Beam (NDB) optical encoder. The design contains a new approach for the design of the pixels and an algorithm implemented in an FPGA that finds the center of the NDB. This algorithm is the first step to automatically align the sensor and is validated using commercial simulation tools.
