Resumen:
This work proposes the control of the power and voltage level of a distributed generation unit at the coupling point connection. A cascade asymmetric multilevel converter is used in this connection. The distributed generation unit with the control objectives results in a multi-variable system. Beside of being strongly coupled, it is also variable system due to dependence with loads. A simplified mathematical model describing the dominant dynamic of the system is obtained and a model-based predictive control is proposed to achieve the objectives. Through the simulation the proposed control displays good performance and robustness in front of load changes.
