Resumen:
In this work, a single-phase multilevel currentsource DC/AC converter with sinusoidal output is presented. Thevoltage waveform is achieved by using the stepped currentwaveform of the multilevel current inverter and a singlecapacitor at the output. The proposed controller is based on theFinite-Control Set Predictive Control approach and regulates theoutput voltage simultaneously with the DC current on theconverter?s internal inductor. The synthesis of a multilevelcurrent at the output of the converter jointly with a singlecapacitor allows one to obtain a high quality output voltage atsteady state with fast transient response capability withoutresonances.
