The Tenth ICMB (ICMB-X; http://www.marinebioinvasions.info) was heldOctober 16?19, 2018 in Puerto Madryn, Argentina, marking the first timethe conference was hosted in Latin America in its 20-year history (Bortolusand Schwindt 2018). ICMB-X brought together a geographically- andgender-balanced team of seven leading keynote speakers who joined students,academics, environmental managers and industry leaders from over 40countries to highlight current challenges in global management and shareprogress and new initiatives in research, science and policy.
