Resumen:
This paper reports the monitoring offour events between 2015 and 2018, during which the evolution of the capacitiesavailable in the Hydro-Meteorological Observatory of the Province of Córdoba(Observatorio Hidro-Meteorológico de la Provincia de Córdoba, OHMC), both ofsensors and of the quality of its estimators and products, can be appreciated. Thereconstruction of hydrometeorological events, particularly the estimation ofthe precipitation rate from meteorological radar measurements, is a topic ofinterest for a wide range of hydrological applications. The Province of Córdobais characterized by the occurrence of extreme events, such as convective stormsthat develop mainly during the summer and that are characterized by great spatialand temporal variability, with high intensity rain peaks. The complexity ofthese events justifies the integration of data from different types of sensors:surface hydrometeorological networks, weather radar data and satellite imageinformation. This paper presents a summary of the analysis of relevant rainfallevents recorded in the Province of Córdoba, Argentina, which have beenmonitored by the RMA1 radar installed recently in the city of Córdoba, belonging to the National System of Meteorological Radars (Sistema Nacional deRadares Meteorológicos, SINARAME), and simultaneously by surface weatherstations, managed by different entities, and GOES16 satellite images. Allgathered information is managed by OHMC.
