Resumen:
This paper presents the progress, improvements and evolution in the development of lake monitoring stations (LMS), in particular two of them, placed on two reservoirs in the province of Córdoba (Los Molinos and San Roque). The need to monitor large water bodies has led to the implementation of cutting edge technology, in order to obtain -wirelessly and in real time- both meteorological and water quality parameters, by means of various sensors installed on a floating structure.Additionally, characterizations of these lakes are generated using high-complexity models, fed by data obtained from the stations, which are available in a web server.
