Resumen:
Complex system development and integration at the con-ceptual layer raises the requirement to be able to declare intermodelassertions between entities in models that may, or may not, be rep-resented in the same modelling language. This is compounded by thefact that semantically equivalent notions may have been represented ina different element, such as an attribute or class. We first investigatesuch occurrences in six ICOM projects and 40 models with 33 schemamatchings. While equivalence and subsumption are in the overwhelm-ing majority, this extends to mainly to different types of attributes, andtherewith requiring non-1:1 mappings. With an eye on implementation, the mappings and transformations are declared in ATL, availing also of acommon metamodel of conceptual modelling languages. This is currentlybeing implemented as proof-of-concept in the ICOM tool.
