Resumen:
CONCLUSIONS:hyperglycemiapreceded dyslipidemia. Present findings support the contribution ofhypertriglyceridemia (indirectly via liver inflammation) and HDL-C decrease(directly) to aortic damage. Dyslipidemia association with hepatic and aorticpathology disappeared after controlling for age confirming the role of aging inthese abnormalities.
