Resumen:
The main focus of our research group (est. 2016) is on understanding and exploiting the structure-property-functionality relationship of additives and (nano)materials for the generation of new ones. To achieve these goals, especial emphasis is put on the design, synthesis, modification, and chemical characterization of specifically functionalized monomers, polymers, and hybrid systems. Reverse engineering is often utilized to address our syntheses to specifically targeted structures. Similarly, a retrosynthetic analysis is realized to design the building blocks needed in each step throughout the syntheses.
