Resumen:
The increased concentration of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere put in danger the natural balance of greenhouse gases that caused an increase in global temperature. A potential tool to reduce the CO2 of the atmosphere is use fresh cement as a carbon sink by carbonation of cement silicate with CO2. In this work, the CO2 permeability is studied through modified concrete specimen with nanocellulose. We found that the carbonation improved the modulus and the nanocellulose delay the loss of module on cement samples.
