Resumen:
Boltorn ® H20, H30 and H40 are hyperbranched aliphatic polyester polyol polymers (see below) that due to their biocompatibility, biodegradability and a globular architecture with endocavities, can be used for encapsulate ions or small molecules, and have received much attention in designing of novel materials for biomedicine. In this work, we present the surface characterization of Boltorn® H20, H30 and H40 self-assembled onto highly oriented pyrolytic graphite (HOPG) by atomic force microscopy (AFM). The dependence of different factors as incubation time or temperature on the layer formation is analyzed by means of changes in the topography and phase images.
