Resumen:
p { margin-bottom: 0.25cm; line-height: 120%; }The aim of this presentation is to show that in many problems in which there aremoving internal interfaces, one order of magnitude larger timestepcan be used with an appropriate strategy[1,2]. Furthermore, finiteelement meshes much coarser than those used currently, may beacceptable withthe sameaccuracy[1]. The use of large time steps together with coarse meshessolves the same problem with the same accuracy by several orders ofmagnitude faster[1,2,3].Some pathologicalexamples of moving multifluids with internal interfaces, solved withfixed meshes are presented to demonstrate this assertion.
