Resumen:
A 13.56 MHz RF Microtransponder circuit was designed for the energization of an active implantable micro-valve for the treatment of glaucoma. It converts RF power to DC for the actuation of a conjugated polymer (CP) that shows high deformation. Simulation results show that the transponder operates to detect an Amplitude Shift Keying (ASK) signal with modulation index from 20% to 80% for a data rate of 500kbits/s at a carrier frequency 13.56MHz, with the possibility of varying the tension action of the membrane polymer in the range of 0 to 1V. It was designed in AMI C5 (0.5μm) technology, and it is currently under fabrication.
