Resumen:
Pineapple (Ananas comosus var. Comosus) is one of the fruit trees most produced; it occupies the third place in world production, after bananas and mangoes. It is cultivated in order to meet the population´s nutritional needs and constitutes an important line for the production of preserves and the sale of fresh fruit. The yield of this cultivar depends on two fundamental factors, the density of planting and the adequate fertilization levels of both NPK and micronutrients in general. The objective of the study was to determine the effects of three fertilization systems on the morphological and physiological aspects of MD-2 pineapple plants during field cultivation, for which a randomized experimental block design was used in which each treatment was Replicated in two plots of 0.25 ha each with a number of plants per replicate of approximately 16 250. The morpho-physiological indicators evaluated were: fresh plant mass (kg), plant length (cm), perimeter of number of leaves, fresh mass of leaf ?D? (g), length of leaf ?D? (cm), width of leaf ?D? (cm), dry mass of leaf ?D? (g), fresh weight relative to leaf area ?D? (g cm-2), dry weight relative to leaf area ?D?, chlorophyll a content in dry mass (μg g-1 MS), chlorophyll content in dry mass (μg g-1 MS), chlorophyll a content in dry mass (μg g-1 MS), chlorophyll a/b ratio, organic acid content (μM g-1 MS acid). The results show that the Coda fertilization system manifests its superiority in the morpho-physiological variables: fresh mass, number of leaves, fresh leaf mass ?D?, leaf dry mass ?D?, leaf length Leaf ?D? and chlorophyll content, evaluated in the growth stage of the pineapple plants MD-2, reaching the induction time at least one month before the UEB and Combinado systems. However, the Combined treatment reaches the highest values in yields (t/ha), perhaps due to the use of the Bulitem fertilizer in the final development of the fruit.
