Resumen:
As (V) remediation from water using pillared clays (PILCs) was evaluated. Iron oxide PILCs were synthesized from montmorillonite (Mt) by a conventional method and characterized by DRX and N2 adsorption. It was found that a complete remotion of As was accomplished at pH 4 and 6.5 by modified clay in about 1 h in contrast to the low adsorption observed when using Mt
