Resumen:
The effect of treatments given to frozen-thawed bovine semen used for in vitro embryo production, was studied. The results measured as transferible embryos, when semen was processed by the method of swim-up or by gradient of mini-Percoll, were the same. The mini-Percoll technique, though, allowed a greater number of oocytes to be inseminated. We conclude that the gradient of mini-Percoll is convenient to optimise the dosis of frozen semen used in the production of embryos by in vitro fertilization.
