Resumen:
Background: There is a need for early indicators of Alzheimer?sDisease (AD). Beta amyloid and Tau deposition begin in limbic,philogenetically old areas of the central nervous system years priorto the appearance of the first clinical symptoms.We sought to determineif persons at higher risk of sporadic AD display limbic phentoypesof the disease. Methods:We tested a sample of 17 children ofsporadic AD patients between 40 and 60 years of age.We measuredcircadian variation of body temperature, cardiac autonomic activity,daily motor activity, sleep-wake cycle, mood status and cognitivefunction.
