Resumen:
A new design for a thermally coupled hydrogen storageand fuel cell system, where the heat produced during the H2/air PEM fuelcell operation is used to enhance the release of hydrogen from the metalhydride container, is presented. The effect of the fuel cell thermal couplingon the metal hydride container performance is evaluated, and the results arecompared with those obtained in the same container without fuel cell thermalinteraction.
