Resumen:
The impact of selective logging on subtropical forests is still unknown. We studied the effect of two selective logging techniques, conventional logging and reduced impact logging, on beta diversity and their components in tree communities of subtropical forests. We observed that the ecological processes that most influence beta diversity are related to abundance differences. The turnover rate remains relatively stable through the years. There is a tendency to re-establish their initial conditions of turnover and abundance after 8 years.
