Resumen:
The aim of this work was to study the optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) properties of novel MgO co-doped with different lanthanides and lithium ions and to evaluate the feasibility of using these compounds in OSL dosimetryapplications. In this context, OSL efficiency for stimulation with different wavelengths and using different filters has been analyzed for each compound. After determining the most efficient, dosimetric characteristics of this phosphor, namely MgO-La(OH)3, have been studied. In particular, the repeatability and linearity of the OSL response, the fading of the OSL signal and the minimum detectable dose have been studied. Finally, the feasibility of using this compoundin OSL dosimetry applications is in particular assessed.
