Resumen:
The aim of this work is to study the optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) properties, as well as to evaluate the feasibility of using in OSL dosimetry applications, novel MgO co-doped with several lanthanides and lithium, obtained by a glycine-based solution combustion method. In this context, radioluminescence (RL) spectra and OSL efficiency for stimulation with different wavelengths of light have been analyzed for each compound. Also, dosimetric characteristics of the most efficient phosphor, namely MgO co-doped with lanthanum and lithium have been studied. In particular, the repeatability and linearity of the OSL response, the fading of the OSL signal and the minimum detectable dose were studied in thiswork. Finally, the feasibility of using this compound as an OSL dosimeter is discussed.
