Resumen:
This paper describes the development of a model for shallow waters acoustic channel. Starting from the study of the basic phenomena involved in the propagation of acoustic waves and doing some simplifications, it was implemented a model that allows to obtain important parameters for the future development of acoustic communication systems to be employed in underwater acoustic sensor networks.
