Resumen:
A small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) study of crystallization in PHB/DGEBA blends with ratios of 100/0, 90/10, 70/30 and 50/50 in weight, crystallized at temperatures of 60°C, 80°C and 100°C is performed at measurements temperatures between 30°C and 140°C. The lamellar dimensions of PHB crystals were determined using the one dimension correlation function assuming an ideal lamella constituted by a crystalline component and an amorphous component. The results are discussed considering a rigid amorphous interphase between crystals and amorphous phase. Evidence of interlamellar segregation was found for DGEBA content lower than 30% independently of crystallization temperature. For DGEBA content higher than 30% the segregation can be interfibrillar or interspherulitic.
