Resumen:
The aim of this work is to describe the thickness profile of a droplet under the effect of gravity and molecular forces of long and short range arising between the liquid and the substrate that supports it. The latter are described by using a potential-type disjoining-conjoining pressure term with exponents (4,3). We study the effects on the morphology of the drop, their characteristic parameters and the region for which stationary solutions exist. Analytical solutions are found for some of these parameters and also for the thickness profile.
