Resumen:
We studied the dynamical behavior of a model commonly used to describe the infection of mice2 due to hantavirus and, therefore its possibility of propagation into the human being, when a parameter is3 changing in time. In particular we studied the situation when the ecological conditions (climate benignity,4 food availability, etc.) changes periodically in time. We show that the density of infected mice increase5 abruptly as the parameter crosses a critical value. We correlate such situation with the observed sudden6 outbreaks of hantavirus. Finally we discuss the possibility of preventing hantavirus epidemic.
