Resumen:
Experimental analysis of isotropic Compton pro fi les for beryllium, aluminum and titanium wasperformed to assess the radial core wavefunctions and pseudo-orbitals for valence electrons generatedusing a generalized gradient approximation based on norm-conserving pseudo-potential calculations.Compton profi les for the different core and valence electron shells are presented in tabulated electronmomentum transfer values from q ΒΌ 0 to 9 a.u. Derivatives of the Compton pro fi les were also calculated toidentify the Fermi momenta. Comparison of our results to previous experimental and theoreticalcalculations shows acceptable agreement in most cases. Our fi ndings indicate that the Comp
