Resumen:
TOR is the master regulator of growth anddevelopment which sense energy availability. Biotic stress perturb metabolicand energy homeostasis, making TOR a good candidate to participate in the plantresponse. Fusarium graminearum (Fusarium) produces important losses inmany crops all over the world. Until now, the role of TOR during Fusarium infection has remainedunexplored. Here, we show that downregulation of TOR signaling in  Arabidopsis,in different mutants of the TOR complex or in WT plants treated with a TORinhibitor, increase the resistance to the pathogen. Thus, TOR signaling has arole in plant defence against Fusarium.
