Resumen:
The new biogeographical record ofcentral and southern Argentina, reportedin this article, is an important fact of theconstant expansion of A. aegypti into newsouthernmost areas. Together with thepresence of the different dengue serotypes, this expansion indicates that the situationis far more dangerous than previouslythought. Urgent and responsible actionsmust be taken to control the dengue vectorand its expansion into new areas.
