Resumen:
A new acaulosporoid fungal species characterized by glomerospores with a complex wall structure (ten layers) and unique ornamentation in the fourth layer (outer wall layer OWL4) of the spore wall was found in impacted areas of the Amazon Forest and in cultivated areas of the Atlantic Forest, in Brazil, and is herein described under the epithet Acaulospora endographis.
