This book constitutes the proceedings of the 4th Latin American Conference on High Performance Computing, CARLA 2017, held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay, in September 2017.The 29 papers presented in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected from 50 submissions.
