Resumen:
We compared the strength of the molecules CN and CH in a sample of 38 exoplanet host stars and 19 stars not known to have any planetary-mass companions from the Geneva and Anglo-Australian planet-search surveys. We used REOSC-DC echelle spectra taken with the Jorge Sahade 2.1m telescope at CASLEO. The atmospheric parameters have been derived using FeI, FeII equivalent widths with the program FUNDPAR (Saffe 2010), requiring excitation and ionization equilibrium. We measure the strength of the CN and CH absorption bands at 3883A, 4215A and 4300A using spectral indices. These indices were corrected by temperature and gravity effects. We also compared the molecular intensities with C I abundances derived using the lines at 5380 and 5052A. There is a good agreement between the strength of the CN molecule and the C I abundance. We find a similar distribution for the intensity of the CN and CH molecules in stars with and without exoplanets.
