Resumen:
From CCD photometry of the eclipsing binary TU Muscae, obtained with the 80 cm Reflector at La Plata Observatory, we estimate a new value of the orbital period, which shows a difference with the one determined previously by Andersen & Grønbech (1975). We fit our light curve and new spectroscopic observations (obtained at CASLEO) with numerical models in order to determine orbital parameters, and compare our values with those previously published. We propose a new spectral classification for the secondary component.
