Resumen:
During the Great War, there was a remarkable contrast between the neutral policy adopted by the Argentine government and civil society activism. Through the entire conflict, Argentine society showed a high level of commitment with one or another belligerent side through different modalities of mobilization. This paper explores this social activism, and relates it to Argentine political and cultural processes.
