Resumen:
In recent years, there has been a breakthrough in historical research into theinequality of wealth distribution in Argentina.1 What is more, there is a wide array of research published in the last two decades on changes in land property rights, which has challenged a large set of previously held assumptions and provided a different and richer outlook on the subject.2 However, there are as yet no studies connecting both threads, in order to assess whether and in what way changes in property rights impacted on inequality.
