New records for Leiosaurus jaguaris (Iguania: Leiosaurinae) extends the distribution into the Precordillera, Argentina

Resumen:
New records of the lizard Leiosaurus jaguaris are reported for the San Juan and La Rioja provinces, central-western Argentina. We reported the southernmost record extending the distribution of this species 171 km to south form the type locality. Together bibliographical and herpetological collection records the whole distributional range remain established between (28°36´S to 31°22´W) covering 360 Km of latitudinal distribution restricted to the Precordillera
