Resumen:
Sepsis and endotoxemia are complex inflammatory syndromes that may involve bioenergetic dysfunction and lead to multi-organ failure. To unravel the importance of the bioenergetic dysfunction related to the inflammatory insult (endotoxemia) in different relevant organs (heart, brain and pancreas), Sprague-Dawley rats were i.p. injected with LPS 8mg/kg or vehicle, and after 6h were euthanized.
