Resumen:
This study evaluates the effects of dietary quercetin (QC) supplementationon nitric oxide (NO) bioavailability in cardiac tissue of rats deficient inNO by treatment with L-NAME, an inhibitor of NO synthase (NOS).QC treatment prevented the increases in systolic blood pressure (SBP),superoxide anion production, expression of p47phox NADPH oxidase (NOX)subunit, and SOD and GPx activities (p
