Resumen:
Dear Dr. María Inés Vaccaro In November 2016, the School of Dentistry of the University of Chile together with the Faculty of Biological Science of the  Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile will be holding a meeting supported by The International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB). The title of meeting is: ICGEB Workshop "Autophagy: Physiological and Pathological Roles". The purpose of this Workshop is to provide important insights into the current research involved in the discovery of the molecular mechanisms of autophagy and how they are dysregulated in diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases, neurodegeneration and metabolic disorders. The ICGEB Workshop will take place in Santiago, Chile from the 23nd to the 24th November 2016. Because of the significant discoveries you made in the Autophagy field, we would be honored to have you as speaker in our ICGEB Workshop. The presentation should be a 30 minutes lecture on the current or past autophagy-related research you are working on in your laboratory. Furthermore, we would like to inform you that we will cover for travel and accommodation costs during the whole duration of the meeting. Thank you very much in advance for your collaboration. We are looking forward for your reply. Best regards,Alfredo Criollo Ph.D.Instituto de Investigación en Ciencias OdontológicasUniversidad de Chile943, Sergio Livingstone PohlhammerIndependencia, SantiagoPhone:  +56 2 2978 1729E-mail: alcriollo@u.uchile.cl Eugenia Morselli, Ph.DAssistant ProfessorPhysiology DepartmentPontificia Universidad Católica de ChileAlameda 340, Santiago de ChilePhone: +56 2 2354 2871e-mail: emorselli@bio.puc.cl
