Resumen:
Moderate consumption of wine has been extensively associated to a healthy lifestyle, especially by preventing cardiovascular disease. Phenolic compounds have been proposed as responsible for those actions, but if the benefits are due to a physiological antioxidant effect is still a matter of discussion and requires further  research.
