Resumen:
In the Andes mountain range, between Argentina and Chile, there are more than a hundred active volcanoes, about 38 of these are located in the Argentine territory and on the international border. From the work done by Elissondo et al., (2016), they can be deduced that the volcanos of Relative Risk very high to high in Argentina, are located mainly in the western part of the provinces of Mendoza and Neuquén. While there are no large populations in the vicinity of these volcanoes, both the eruptions of volcanoes in the Argentine territory and in the neighboring country of Chile, have a negative impact on a lot part of the territory caused by the fall of ash and the influence of the winds whose generally are direccioned towards the east. This phenomenon affects agriculture, livestock, land and air transport, as well as human health. For this reason, we need to have any tools that allow us to issue early warning of risk, in order to reduce the damage generated by a volcanic eruption.
