Resumen:
a small wildfire on 13th June 2017 in the surrounding area of Granada (Spain) caused several fresh smoke plumes that were advected over the city and reached Sierra Nevada mountain range. SLOPE II (Sierra Nevada Lidar AerOsol Profiling Experiment) campaign was active during this event, combining active and passive remote sensing with in-situ measurements at several altitudes in the northern slope of the mountain. Thanks to the combination of several instruments, the optical and microphysical properties of the biomass burning particles at different stages of the fire were characterized.
